We had a few days with my family after Lewis' blessing in Salt Lake before we left for Texas. It was really hard to say goodbye to everyone. My kids got super attached to my family after living here for this year. Plus we don't know when we will be back next. Hopefully it's not too long :) We do love Utah.
My parents kept Mae at home with them while we drove from Utah to Texas, then they flew her out a few days later. Our drive was uneventful- Calvin and Lewis did great.
We were able to get our house ready and unpacked really fast because Dal didn't have to go to work for the first few weeks, plus my parents were able to help us. We were able to go on a few adventures while they were here too- we tried out Salt Lick barbeque for the first time, went to the drive thru zoo (which was sooo funny!!) and went to this awesome swimming hole.
