Dennis and Lisa come to Texas

Dennis and Lisa came to visit and the kids were in heaven. Highlights included:

-Trying out a new restaurant in Salado which ended up being so cute + was along a beautiful creek where the kids could run around by

-Day trip to Salt Lick bbq (delicious as always) and to Wimberly to the awesome swimming hole there. Calvin loved it, Mae was in a mood and whined the whole time, Lewis slept.

-Spending the evening in Austin at Torchy's tacos and seeing the bats fly out of the bridge for our first time. The adults liked it, the kids were very underwhelmed.

-Stopped in Waco on their way back to the airport. It was my first time at Magnolia. We only lasted like 5 minutes because it was so hot.

We loved having them! 

Lewis Dennis @ 3 months

Lewis is 3 months old and we could not be more obsessed with him. All 4 of us. He is so chill brings the best spirit into our home. 

At 3 months Lewis....

-SLEEPS THROUGH THE NIGHT!!!

I have no idea how that happened. Even during the first week of his life he was sleeping from 1 am- about 7 am (the exact hours that I sleep). He sleeps swaddled in the Dock a dot on our bed. Currently he sleeps from 11 pm until 8 am. I don't know how that happened but it is the best.

-is a great nurser (except for my getting mastitis)

-During his first 3 months, Lewis had his dad come home from Afghanistan, went on a boating trip, and moved to Texas. He adjusted to all of the change better than I did.

-He constantly has wrinkles on his forehead + it is so cute

-Finally fits in newborn clothes after 3 months of only fitting in premie

-Started smiling at 7 weeks

-Still has't laughed or rolled over

-Loves the car (did not cry once on our 20 hour car ride to Texas from Utah)

-Hated his first time swimming

First 4th of July

4th of July 2018

We had a great 4th of July! During the day we went to the Mikkelson's for a bbq + the kids had a blast. For dinner we went to Kyle and Whitney's house (so sad that they moved) then watched fireworks. The weekend after, we went the the Belton Rodeo with some of Dal's coworkers. The kids loved it!
