Livin for the weekend

Highlights from the past couple weekends include:

-Going for a walk in the 60 degree January weather

-Taco night with Touro friends

-Game night!

-Two wins for the 49ers, leading them to the Superbowl! 

-Birthday party for Dal at the Mitchells

-St. George 1/2 marathon

... my slowest time but I loved the course and met some awesome people!

-And finalllllly, some Sunday napping

We are missing family, but loving Las Vegas.

He talks now!

I am sure that I am the only one who thinks this is cute... except maybe my mom.

But seriously... he kills me.

3 months

Cal buddy turned 3 months old yesterday!

This is what Calvin is up to at 3 months of age...

-He loves his swing, the snot sucker thing, and his carseat

-He hates tummy time and his bumbo seat

-Dal insists that he likes to be naked and undresses him if I ever leave

-Celebrated his first Christmas this month

-Has a weird obsession with eating his hands

-Coos and smiles and it is our very favorite thing ever

-Doesn't really notice Hobbes much, except when he licks Cal's toes

-We've got our days and nights straightened out, but he still doesn't sleep for more than a couple hours at a time in his crib. Little stinker.

-Got his first shots 

-He was blessed by his dad this month

-He fits in clothes now! It is fun

A snowy night in Pine Valley

Weekend highlights included driving to Pine Valley to spend a night at the cabin with the Mitchells, sledding the next day, game night with friends back in Vegas, a new calling for Dal as assistant ward clerk, and Sunday dinner with the Hunters and Dallin's parents at our place. Oh, and the verdict is in--- homeboy's eyes are blue.
