We celebrated Craig's 40th birthday with the entire Mitchell family (minus Dal, of course) in Disneyland. I was really bummed that Dallin couldn't end up going, but we had a blast. We stayed at the Disneyland hotel which was THE BEST. It was so convenient to be so close.
We spent 3 days at the park and 1 day at the hotel swimming pool. Calvin was in heaven the whole time with his cousins and loved all of the rides (except for guardians of the galaxy). He is now tall enough for everything + his favorite was incredicoaster. Mae is so short that she wasn't tall enough for most rides that she should be able to go on based on her age so that was kind of a bummer. But she did love the rides she got to go on + Lauren was the best aunt and took her to toon town (just the 2 of them) for the afternoon while we were all swimming and she felt so special. She still talks about that. Lewis was pretty chill the whole time except for the airplane. He was kind of a nightmare both ways. Also, Amy met up with us for one of our days at Disneyland which was so fun for me.
We have vowed not to go to Disneyland again until Dallin can go with us (this trip made 3 times in a row that we have been without him).
