Cal had his 9-month birthday on Monday.
Here is what he is up to at 9 months old...
-Weighs 19 pounds, 28 1/2 inches long
-Says, "dada" all day long over and over (Dallin is lovin it)
-Smiles every time he makes eye contact with Dallin
-Turns into a major mama's boy when he is tired and generally won't let anyone hold him (including Dal) except for me
-Got sick for the first time this month with a really high fever and swollen eye
-Learned to crawl!!! He does this army crawl thing and can get pretty much anywhere he wants to go
-Still no teeth
-Went boating for the first time with the Mitchells at Lake Powell
-He is really hit or miss with swimming
-Starting to be able to feed himself
-Still loves nursing and still hates getting dressed
-Loves Hobbes, Shadow, and Charlie
-Learned to wave just a couple of days ago
-I have noticed he is getting some sense of object permanence. If his cup falls off of his high chair, he starts to look around for it.
-Everything always goes straight into his mouth.

Cal is so fun right now. This has been my favorite stage so far.
