At 10 months...
-Mae recently learned to pull herself up! For the first full week after learning, she couldn't figure out how to get back down and would basically climb up onto everything and then scream her head off because she was "stuck". That was also a week of no naps because she would get stuck against her crib. Luckily, she has since learned to plop herself back down and is getting a little more stable on her feet!
-She loves the swings, the hiking backpack, being thrown in the air, the stroller, and Hobbes.
-She's a major mama's girl. It is both cute and hard.
-She hates every day from like 5 pm to 6, which is right when I am trying to make dinner. So she crawls around following me and climbs up my leg crying. She kind of makes me hate cooking.
-I know she knows how to crawl on her knees, but she exclusively army crawls. It makes her super dirty all the time.
-She doesn't cry anymore (usually) when I put her down for naps and bed. She still wakes up at 5 to eat, then again for the day at 7:30. She takes some kind of car nap in the morning, then one from 2-4 while Calvin is napping.
-She doesn't really do well playing on the floor, but she also doesn't like to to be held. It's tricky. Ideally for her, I would either be crawling around on the floor with her, or carrying her around.
-Still breastfeeding. She is eating less baby food and more real food. Her favorites are avocado, bananas, and raspberries.
-She says, "mama", "dada", "yaya", "baba"
-She does this thing where she will smile at strangers and then buries her head into my chest. It is kinda flirty/shy and it's adorable.
-She also does this lip smacking thing all day long.
-Wearing mostly 3-6 month clothes. She's tiny.
We really, really love our tiny, high-maintenance, sweet little girl.
