The best Cabo trip eeeeevvveeeerrrr

My parents took Calvin back with them to Utah when they came for graduation... and we took Mae to Mexico!! It was such a fun group and (of course) we always love Cabo. It wasn't as much of a vacation as usual since we had Mae there, but it was seriously nice to have one on one time with her since Cal is generally such an attention seeker. Plus, she is obsessed with water so it was super fun to watch her.

Mae did awesome on both flights over and slept most of the way, despite me being really nervous since we had a 2 hour delay. On our layover we found the yummiest burger place! The bad news is that it turns out that the place only exists in the Phoenix airport.

The first night it was just us and the Taylors, so naturally we went to the Trailor park for dinner... and it was sooo delicious. I will day dream about the dinosaur egg soup until we go back.  That evening we played our 39024th game of hearts with the Taylors... knowing it will be our last for quite a while :( And to make it even worse, Dallin won.

The next day we went down to the private beach! Dal and Justin's favorite. We got back and explored the house next door that was having an open house, then Sarah and Mo showed up. We went to Panchos for dinner and then danced all night at Cabo Wabo.

The next day we went to the beach again... then Amy and Jerrick showed up! Horray! We ate dinner at the office that night right on the beach, then Cabo Wabo again. Dal was nice to stay home with the 2 babies while we went to the club. It was such a fun night! I love my friends. and cabo wabo.

The next day we went to the cove for the day. The weather, company, and babies were all perfect. We snorkeled,  swam in the ocean, and bought yummy mangos from the beach vendors. It was such a good day! In the evening we went down the pier to eat gelato and walk around. Besides that Dal started feeling a little bit sick, it was fun.

That night Dal kept waking up shaking and he was so hot. We took his temperature (after we got him a little cooler with medicine) and his fever was at almost 105! So, being the good wife I am..., I left for the beach and he slept back at the house. I missed him and was worried  about him, but there wasn't really any reason for us both to miss out on Lover's Beach. We took a glass bottom boat to lover's beach and found this perfect little cove that we had mostly to ourselves. We swam, jumped off cliffs, and Mae took a nice little beach nap.

We went to church the next morning. Dal was still a little sick but braved it and came with. We took it easy that afternoon and hung out by the pool. That evening we went to the Trailer Park again and it was delicious again. When the lady brought out a birthday cake for me some drunk lady flipped out because it was also her husbands birthday and she was totally  nuts. It was pretty funny. Before dinner we went down to the private beach and took exactly one billion photos.

Last day of Cabo :( We spent my birthday at the beach, then went out to lunch before our flight. It was so nice, but then Justin and Lindsey drove us to the airport and it was all downhill from there. I had a huge breakdown at the airport having to say goodbye. I cried a lot on the airplane because I love my friends and because I dramatic. Mae also cried on the plane... but we sat by nice people so I didn't leave feeling too flustered. We did get to go to that yummy burger place in the Phoenix airport for my birthday dinner, so that was good.

Besides all that, we spent time going for run/walks in the morning, eating Lindsey's yummy guacamole and my birthday cake, playing games, and laying by the pool. It was a perfect trip before we start our intern year!
