We spent a few days before Cabo and a few days after visiting my family in Sandy. It was great, as usual. Cal loves it there. Although I love the Vegas winter weather, it is fun to go back to visit the snow... it was so snowy and cold! Cal really loved the snow, except when it got on his face. We saw friends, went to a couple of movies, saw the Christmas devotional with Max & Steph, saw Sherin for her birthday, played in the snow, went snowboarding, and went to dinner a few times.
Because we were not going to be there for the 25th, my mom had a 'fake Christmas' a couple of days before so that we could celebrate. We had yummy food and opened presents. It was lovely.
We had been there so often in October and December and it was hard to leave... but we won't be away for too long because we will be back in a few weeks for Alex's farewell!
