A week in Ohio

The kids and I drove for 10 hours (each way) to visit Brenna + Henry and see fall! It was the farthest I have ever driven by myself and (besides having to wait in traffic for an extra 2 hours) went well!

We had a blast in Ohio. Highlights included finally seeing some fall leaves, Brenna's hot tub + amazing backyard, late night target run without kids, the best ice cream ever, and watching Cal jump in leaves. We spent a day at the airplane museum (Calvin was obsessed) and exploring downtown Dayton. The next day we went to the Cincinnati zoo. The weather was perfect plus they had their Christmas stuff up. It was the best day.

We love our Borup family and will definitely be back.
Most annoying traffic that made our already 10 hour drive 2 hours longer

Airplane museum. Calvin could have spent a week straight here.

Calvin got out of the hot tub before us and I told him to wait in the living room and I would come get him his pajamas. I accidentally waited a minute too long and we found him like this when we came inside. Worst mom moment ever.
but it did get me some snuggles
These 3 were so cute at the zoo
matching astronaut boys

Really love these people

The drive home didn't go as smooth. Mae got a fever and I had to drive 10 miles off of the freeway in a sketchy area in North Carolina to get her Ibuprofen that she immediately threw up. Good thing we were able os tay at the Taylors and didn't have to drive all the way home.
