This is what I learned during my SIXTH year of marriage...
-Washington is seriously, seriously pretty
-the Olympia 3rd ward is the best ward ever
-Almost nothing makes Dallin upset except for moving his chargers
-In WA you really don't see the sun for months at a time
-Intern year does not leave a lot of free time
-Adventure to Portland with just our little family makes for the perfect Thanksgiving
-We love our missionaries, but we especially love having the last ones come home! (Alex came home from Albania is Dec, Lauren came home from Peru in March).
-Leavenworth is the most magical little Bavarian Christmas town!
-Good friends are really crucial to living far from family
-We still kind of hate the match
-Not having a disposal is inconvenient
-Not having a disposal is inconvenient
-A little Orlando trip is the perfect way to break up the Washington winter gloom
-Being together is much better than being apart (dal had to go to a 6 week training in Alabama)
-Portland is the coolest (especially beacon rock state park + salt & straw ice cream)
-With lots of practice I can finally get better at cooking
-If you leave your garage door open on accident overnight someone might come steal your car
-The army is kind of inefficient with time
-but the army is still cool
-Mt. Reinier is so beautiful, especially when there is snow
-It is possible to watch a season of a tv show in one weekend (this year- Sons of Anarchy, Brooklyn 99, It's always Sunny in Philadelphia)
-The church is true in Washington too
-and Alabama
-and Georgia
-Dal is good at putting up with me getting homesick (most of the time)
-Sometimes craigslist dryers are not a good idea
-Having 2 toddlers is more fun than having a toddler + a baby
-Facetime is the greatest invention ever
-We are somehow capable of not losing a stuffed animal ("little hobbes") that comes with us everywhere for 4 years!
-New Orleans is both discussing and entertaining
-Austin is cooooool
-I cry a lot
-Dallin doesn't
-Sometiemes hurricanes happen when you live in the south and you have to evacuate your house
-When you have to evacuate, its best to go with friends and make an awesome vacation out of it
-There are so many cool things to see in Washington, D.C.
-Med school friends are forever friends
-Dal is the best daddy ever
-Living by the beach rocks
-Savannah is freaking humid
-You gotta have faith that plan B is going to be better than plan A, even if it literally takes years to figure out with plan B is
-Dallin is still a sweetheart
-Being together is much better than being apart (dal had to go to a 6 week training in Alabama)

For our anniversary this year we were evacuated from our home because of hurricane Matthew, so we were in Washington, D.C. We spent the day exploring Mount Vernon with friends and it was lovely!
