8 years!

We have been married for 8 years! This year was our hardest yet with Dallin being gone to Afghanistan for most of it.

This is what I learned during our 8th year of marriage...
-Our families are the BEST (they were so helpful to me while Dal was gone)
-The army is unorganized
-Little girls are more complicated than little boys (in our experience)
-Disneyland is less magical without Dal
-Christmas is also less magical without Dal
-and weddings (although we are super happy to have Tyler in the family now)
-The match process is a million times better when you actually match
-I love Utah and snow
-It is horrible to watch your friends go through hard things
-Dr. Smith is the best O.B. ever
-It is possible to give birth to a baby 20 minutes after arriving at the hospital while still having an epidural
-It's hard to put regular pants on the day after you have a baby to go pick up your husband from the airport
-THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN SEEING A DAD REUNITE WITH HIS KID/MEET HIS BABY FOR THE FIRST TIME
-We love boating
-sometimes moving to new places is hard
-Texas is uglier and hotter than Washington and Georgia
-but it still has awesome people
-Bu-cee's is more than just a gas station
-Dallin is still a sweetheart

For our anniversary we got a babysitter and got to see Paul McCartney at Austin City Limits. It was so fun!
